a nORtHeRN one...

28 disember 2008, pukul 1 pagi lebih2, saya sekeluarga selamat tiba di rumah...alhamdulillah, segala perancangan berjalan lancar...

3 hari 2 malam yang lepas (25-27 disember 2008) kami bertolak ke langkawi, perancangan dibuat sebulan yang lepas...maen sebut je, tiba2 abah bagi persetujuan...lepas tu mulala proses pencarian tempat penginapan, kenderaan nak berjalan kat sana a.k.a. kereta sewa dan sebagainya...kinda excited, sebab dah 11 thn x pergi langkawi...last pergi tahun 1997, mase tu kecik lagi...tapi memorinya tetap segar di ingatan =)

kali ni pergi naek feri dari jeti kuala perlis, dulu pegi naek kapal terbang...bertolak dari rumah pukul 12 tgh malam lebih kurang (quite punctual this time...), sampai sana subuh...sembahyang jemaah kat masjid kat perlis tu, jumpe 3 beradik yang sangat peramah...suasana yang tenang dan bahagia, alhamdulillah...lepas breakfast terus pergi confirmkan tiket feri, dan tunggu waktu berlepas...ada konflik sikit pasal tiket, tapi abah dah setelkan...alhamdulillah

pastu dok dalam feri dalam satu jam sebelum sampai langkawi, pengalaman pertama naek feri camtu...nasib baik x mabuk laut, mabuk darat je...dulu naik feri kat penang tu yang boleh naik dengan kereta sekali, ingatkan itu je jenis feri yang ada, rupanya ada je yang angkut orang dan luggage semata...

sampai2 cari kwn mama yg uruskan hal kereta sewa dan gi lunch, makan laksa...yg len2 makan ikut selera, pastu terus jalan2...nasib baik dah mandi sebelum bertolak, hehe...pergi underwater world, banyaknya binatang2 unik dalam laut...=) sangat cantik, jumpa ramai baby yang cute2...seronok, sekali masuk untuk pemilik mykad rm22 sempena cuti sekolah...nenek sporting, siap berwheelchair...abah pun, alang2 datang gunakan sume kesempatan yang ada

kat underwaterworld ni ade macam2, lebih kurang aquaria klcc gak...tapi more things to explore, ade tayangan 3D 15 minit...mungkin tunjuk hidupan2 laut, that's the main purpose of the building rite...x sempat tengok even dah berlari-lari nak gi tengok, but overall the experience is so nice...captured so many pictures, but yet need to be remembered in memory only...along has deleted all of 'em, huhu...nevermind then, at least i've been there once

then we had dinner at nelayan restaurant at langkawi, the specialty is 'ikan bakar' and seafood...it took about one hour and more for us to start eating, and alhamdulillah...the food is not dissapointing

the second day at langkawi we all decided to visit gunung machinchang, need to take the cable car ride to get to the top...nice and cool experience, the view is soooooooo beautiful...subhanALLAH, sangat sangat sangat cantik...x yah g oversea pun dah puas hati, tu pun lom tgk scenery kat tanjung rhu lagi, itu pun best...=)

in the evening, we stop by at tanjung rhu to see the sunset...the scene is not too clear, but it is trully pretty...thank you ALLAH, for giving m3 the chance to see your greatness...=) the beach is nice, the air is fresh, and it is a really suitable place to be calm and observing ALLAH's creativity...wanna come again someday with the love of my life, nicey nice...insyaALLAH


the next day is our last day on the island, and we go straight to jetty to get ferry from IPP (the place we stay)...got some problems there but they all settled smoothly and we all arrived safely at jetty of kuala perlis, alhamdulillah...


cuti2 ni x abeh lg rupenye, lpas arrival kat jeti tu kami dptkn kereta semula and proceed to kedah...cdgnye nak sambung shopping lagi, siap kena pilih nak g pdg besa ke pekan rabu...majoriti dlm hati nak ke pdg besa sebnanye, tp sebab x gtau tol2 abh terus pegi pekan rabu...ade sesat skit mase mencari jln ke pkn rabu tu, dan rasenye hrpn utk ke pdg besa kembali berbunga dlm hati sesetengah phk...hehe, tapi akhirnya kaki menjejak pekan rabu jugak...


lepas puas shopping, kami bertolak balik...tapi sempat lg stop hi-tea kat penang, see...i've told you that this is a northern vacation, siap stop kat R&R tapAh lagi...and that completed the whole states in the northern malaysia; perlis, kedah, penang dan perak...dulu eastern vacation, now i've experienced northern lak...alhamdulillah


my shopping experienced; made m3 spent almost rm200 and that shows how 'boros' i am...the things i bought are chocolates, skirt, 'tudung', 'kain batik', abah's , mama's and aliaa's presents and t-shirts...(these included the stop by at pekan rabu)


pasal makanan lak, disebabkan abah yg suke merasa makanan baru (x de kene mengena)...kitorang x keciwa ngan hasil air tgn org2 utara ni, kat perlis dpt rase nasi lemak 50 sen dn roti canai...kat langkawi dapat nasi lemak, laksa, kuih muih, mknn mamak, seafood, dan lain2...kat kedah x makan, cume mengunyah kacang2 dan kepek2, and lastly kat penang...makan mee udang ngan char kuey teow plus satay, bukan sume menu baru pun but some of them were new experiences...alhamdulillah


what i've got throughout this vacation? erm, i think it is all about nature and the proof of how great ALLAH is...langkawi island is a very beatiful island and the developments not disturbing any of the beauty, plus the island is so clean...maybe it suits the term 'a place for tourist' (i've created this statement), hard to see any dirty place on the island (including the toilet)...and also, this place reminds m3 a lot of 'kota haram' makkah and madinah...subhanALLAH, how i miss those places...the people there is so friendly and i can say mostly follow the right path in islam, i hope this statement is not too much...we can see 'mak cik-mak cik' there went out from their houses with scarf, even just to throw rubbish and it was hardly to see teenagers wasting their time anywhere (as far as i saw, not local at least)...quiet yet peaceful i can say, and yes i love this place...=)
